嗨，大家好! 又來到了每週英文的時間啦! 你們還在填鴨式學習的只會最簡單的英文會話嗎? 那就建議大家多看原文英劇、美劇或者歐美動漫，你會發現原來相同的意思，居然有不同的說法! 廢話不多說，我們開始囉! 1. You'll be sorry you asked: 你問了會後悔的。 例句:  A: I'm going to find out why Martin is no longer dating Jenny.  A: 我要問為甚麼馬丁不再跟珍妮約會了。 B: You'll be sorry you asked. B: 你問了會後悔的。 2. Don't be too sure. : 話可別說得太早。 ⚠:指的是還不確定、還在觀察中。 例句:  A: I think James is going to get promoted. A: 我覺得詹姆士會被升職。 B: Don't be too sure. B: 話可別說得太早。 3. It's not worth it. : 別麻煩了。 例句: A: Shall I call the restaurant and see if there are any open tables? A: 要打電話給餐廳，詢問還有空桌嗎? B: It's not worth it. They are always busy on Friday nights. B: 別麻煩了，禮拜五晚上他們生意很好的。 4. Don't bother. : 別自找麻煩了。 例句: A: I'd love to ask Jenny out on a date. A: 我想約珍妮一起出去約會。 B: Don't bother. She's way out of your league. B: 別自找麻煩了，她又不是你的菜。 5. Don't make me laugh. : 別開玩笑了。 例句: A: I think you should hire me as your personal assistant. A: 我想你應該雇用我當你的私人助理。 B: Don't make me laugh. B: 笑死，別開玩笑了。 6. talk through one's hat: 吹牛；聽他在放屁 例句: A: Martha just told me that she just bought a really nice car.  A: 瑪莎跟我說她買了一部很屌的車。 B: Oh, she's just talking through her hat. Her car isn't that special. B: 聽她在放屁，那只不過是一部普通的車。 7. I expect not. : 最好是。 例句: A: Leo said he'll cook us dinner one day. Do you think he will? A: 李奧說改天他要下廚煮菜給我們吃，你覺得他會這樣最嗎? B: I expect not.  B: 最好是。 8. Fat chance. : 不好說。 ⚠:有點諷刺的意思。 例句: A: Hey, I heard you're getting a promotion. A: 欸，聽說你要升職囉。 B: Fat chance. My boss hates me. B: 不好說，我上司討厭死我了。 9. I doubt that. : 我不太相信。 例句: A: I've heard that employees get a raise after six months. A: 我聽說員工滿六個月後加薪。 B: I doubt that.  B: 我不太相信。 10. Not in my book. : 我可不這麼認為。 🌟: 你也可以說Not for my money.。 例句: A: Chris is a really nice guy. A: 克里斯真是個好人。 B: Not in my book.
