四捨五入，英文怎麼表達？辦公，寫報告，殺價都少不了的實用英文。
四捨五入實際上是將數字取概數。
取概數就好像畫畫一樣。徒手畫一個圓形，可能畫凹也可能畫凸，將它向上(Round it up叫五入)或向下(Round it down叫四捨)修圓即可。
"四捨五入"這個動作的動詞叫做round，名詞為rounding。
如果要叫人家四捨五入的話就叫他 round it，這邊的it是指數字，所以也可以說round the number 哦。
取概數的時候是不是還要知道我要取到哪一位數呢?
🐫情況一:
要將一個數字四捨五入為十位數叫做 round it to the nearest ten 或是 round the number to the nearest ten.
那麼四捨五入到百位數或千位數呢呢?只要把ten 替換成 hundred 或 thousand 即可囉。
🐫情況二:
如果我的數字含有小數呢?
把一個含有小數的數字四捨五入到整數叫 round it to the nearest whole number.
Whole number 這邊叫做整數，我們也可以用 integer. 駱駝讀大學的時候都是用integer，但是whole number 比較能直接了解它是整數。
把一個含有小數的數字四捨五入到到小數點後一位則是 round it to the nearest tenth 後兩位則是 round it to the nearest hundredth. 所以在ten 後面加th就是1/10的意思，同樣的，hundredth是1/100，也就是小數點後兩位囉。
🐫情況三:
我可以只單獨說四捨或五入嗎?可以，而且很簡單
將一個數字 ”四捨” 叫 round it down ”五入” 則是 round it up
例句:The bill comes to 569 pounds, but I can round it down to 560 for you guys.
餐費共是569英鎊，但是我可以算你560就好。
